Osaka Expo 2025

As a creative cultural unit of the World Expo, the "Light of Life" digital AI youth art exhibition was specially set up at the Osaka World Expo. The exhibition is centered on "Light of Life: Imagination and Hope of the Future World" and invites young people aged 3-18 from all over the world to use art as a medium to express their thoughts on the value of life, ecological symbiosis and dialogue between civilizations.

This exhibition is affiliated with the official event of the Osaka World Expo "Art and Technology for a Sustainable Future (ATSF) Program" and is an important part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions in 2005, which is of far-reaching significance.

*Since the certificates are issued by the Japanese government to participants from various countries, the certificates are displayed in simplified Chinese and English.

Preliminary Group Award:

Outstanding Leadership Award: Lead 15 students to participate and receive a trophy and certificate of commendation with the group name printed on it

Outstanding Mentor Award: Lead 5 students to participate and receive a certificate of commendation

*Group certificates and awards are issued by the association(IGEAAA).

Registration Fee:

Individual: HKD380/artwork

Group: HKD350/artwork (5 students or more) --Apply by teacher

*Registration fee includes the official certificate and Medal

Delivery arrangements:

There will be about a week after the announcement date for each participant to check the name. The certificates and medals will be sent by the organizer to the Hong Kong branch of our association about 10-14 weeks after the announcement date, then it will be sent to the address provided on the application form (sent from Hong Kong) in the form of SF Express cash on delivery.

There is no need to apply for the certificate and medal separately or charge extra fees. We will automatically arrange and will notify you before sending it.

If two or more students register, and the recipient's name, address, and phone number in the registration form are the same, we will arrange to send in the same package.

Each competition will be sent separately.

How to Apply?

A) Individual:

Just click "Register Now" at the top of this page and fill in the contestant information, then click Submit.
After submission, the system will immediately send a confirmation email. The contestant information is displayed in the confirmation email. If you need to change it, please contact us at info@igeaaa.com.
The link to upload the artwork is attached in the confirmation email.
Please submit the electronic file of the work (JPG) in the upload system before deadline (physical works do not need to be mailed).
After submitting the artwork online, the system will automatically send a receipt email. For all registered contestants, if we do not receive the artwork, we will contact the parents directly after the deadline to submit the work.
Please wait for the results to be announced.
*All competitions must be confirmed by receiving the confirmation email. If you do not receive the confirmation email after registration, please contact the association at info@igeaaa.com.

B) Group (5 students or more) - Apply by teacher

Please click Download Group Form and fill in the excel form (must be in excel format when submitting, no need to convert).
Email together with 1) group form, 2) entry slip, 3) electronic file of artwork to info@igeaaa.com
We will reply by email and provide a receipt after receiving it. If you do not receive a reply, please contact our staff. You must receive our email confirmation to indicate that the registration is successful.
Teachers can also register first and then submit their artworks by email before the deadline.

Q&A:

Question: Are your club's competitions highly recognized?

Answer: We (IGEAAA) has been working hard to contact art institutions in different countries to introduce more international competitions in Hong Kong. The Osaka World Expo certificate is issued by the Japanese government and is highly recognized. In addition, it only takes place every five years, so this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Question: What should I pay attention to when submitting my work?

Answer: Basically, the pixels of the picture taken by smartphone are sufficient. If the photo is sent via Whatsapp (for example, a teacher sends the work picture to a parent via Whatsapp), the pixels will be reduced. It is strongly suggest to upload the original file. The pixel requirement is generally 1MB or above.

The works need to match the theme of this event. You can check the requirements. Excellent works related to the theme will have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition on August 31.

Question: What file type is required for submission?

Answer: Please submit JPEG/JPG files, HEIC or PDF files are not suggested.

Question: My artwork has been enrolled in other competitions before. Can I still enroll it?

Answer: Yes, as long as the artwork is drawn by the entrant himself, it can be enrolled.

Question: Can the same artwork be applied into other competitions in IGEAAA platform?

Answer: Yes. Since each of our competitions is organized by different organizers and judges, participants can enroll in different competitions at the same time by the same artwork.

Question: Are there any additional charges besides the registration fee?

Answer: In addition to the registration fee, the certificate and medal will be delivered by SF Express. The additional fee is the courier fee for mailing the certificate from Hong Kong to the address provided, which will be paid by the third-party courier company. If you are invited to participate in the exhibition, you will have to pay an additional fee for exhibition.
